Will is 8 months old

William had a check-up this month, so we have an official weight, not just a guess. (Though I think my guesses were pretty accurate--the nurse asked me to predict how much I thought he weighed and I got it right on the money!) He now weighs 21lbs 3oz and is 28 inches long. Hard to believe, but he is finally falling in the 50th percentile in both height and weight. He is working on cutting tooth number seven and is making a stab at finger foods. We are starting the process of baby proofing though there has not been a lot of progress in the scooting department. (I don't encourage him to practice that skill). Best of all, he is saying "mama" and "dada" quite distinctly now. It is absolutely adorable.
