Two Weeks

It is hard to believe Eli is already two weeks old. Things have gone remarkably smooth so far. I suppose being second-time parents makes it easier. We are a little more laid back and know what to expect.

Here are some of our FAQ's and answers:

1. Is Eli a good baby? Yes, he really is. He only cries when he's hungry and is still sleeping most of the time.

2. What does William think of Eli? He loves him a little too much :) He wants to hug him and hold him, and he doesn't quite understand "gentle."

3. Are you getting any sleep at night? Yup. Eli will go usually go three hours between feedings, so it's not too bad.

4. Is William jealous? Well, he's been a little bit more of a stinker than usual the last few days. We're trying to give him more one-on-one time, but he really does love his little brother.

Day 6 with Eli

Well... we finally have a picture of mom holding baby! We also have a picture of big brother holding Eli for the first time. Everything continues to go extremely well here. Mom and dad are even getting a decent amount of sleep as we tag team responsibilities... take naps... and rest. We thank you all for your prayers and kind words and hope to see you all soon. Greetings in Christ,

Eli Roger Homan was born February 6th, at 7:42 am. Here are a few of the pics of today's visitors... Zena, Brett, and Will stopped by for a visit. There is a picture of dad in his scrubs and a picture of mom recovering. We will get a picture of mom holding baby tomorrow when she is "done up" properly (her idea... not mine).
