William, Day 2

Mom and baby are both doing great. We had a mostly restfull evening as "Lil Will" allowed us to get about 7 hours of sleep inbetween feedings last night. I guess that is one of the benefits of having a big baby. We thank you all for your calls and prayers over these last few days. It has been one heck of a few days. Even though William was only born yesterday, it feels like we've been in the hospital a whole week. We look forward to bringing him home tomorrow. At the request of my knowledgable and wonderful father, I have a few better "close-ups" of William to post today [thanks dad :)].

William Alexander Homan

William Alexander Homan was born last night (or very very very early this morning depending on how you look at it) at 1:23 A.M. He weighs 10 pounds 10 ounces. (Yes... I am VERY VERY proud of Lyssa). He measures 21 3/4 inches. He definitely has the trademark Homan boy hair, and most definitely Alyssa's nose. We are very exited and very happy to have this new addition to the house.
